This is a bonsai stand you can use every day, outdoors under your trees. Or it could be used in a display to offset a rugged bonsai at a show. The design incorporates shou sugi ban or yakisugi in the finishing process.

It's made from hemlock wood and fire-charred in the Japanese shou sugi ban style and finished with a penetrating linseed oil that helps protect it from the weather and frequent watering. It's assembled with Titebond III waterproof glue and non-visible brad nails. I recommend reapplying linseed oil annually if you use this outside year round.
